Shah Alam, Malaysia – April 2026Gading Kencana Sdn. Bhd. has successfully completed the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 99.12 kWdc solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Masjid Tuminah Hamidi under the SEDA Malaysia ATAP programme.

The project, which includes 168 Tier-1 Jinko Solar modules and Huawei SUN2000 inverters (72 kWac), was delivered within a fast-track timeline of approximately six weeks and was successfully energised on 23 April 2026 .

Despite the mosque’s unique architectural design and coastal environment, Gading Kencana executed the installation with precision, ensuring optimal system performance, structural integrity, and aesthetic preservation.

The scope of work covered full EPCC delivery, including mounting structures, PV modules, inverters, electrical works, PV-AC distribution board, earthing, lightning protection, and system integration.

“This project reflects our commitment to delivering high-quality solar solutions, even in complex environments. We are proud to support community institutions like Masjid Tuminah Hamidi in their transition towards sustainable energy,” said a representative from Gading Kencana.

The installation is expected to reduce electricity costs while contributing to carbon emission reduction and supporting Malaysia’s renewable energy targets.
